Born in Haiti The brightly colored jungle animals whose facial expressions seem to jump off the canvas, are the signature subjects of Pierre Maxo. He was a student of the late Haitian master Gabriel Alix who passed away in 1998. His vivid colors and imagination have given him an important position with Haitian art collectors.
