During the eighties he worked as an illustrator, and in 1986 he works in Brasília, in the Cultural Foundation of Distrito Federal. At that time, he began to work exclusively on his art. He worked with sculpture, collage, photography and carving before turning to painting. He preferred to paint female bodies and faces, always with strong colors. In the 80’s he began to work with still life paintings, in particular, birds. Birds become a recurring figure in his work, until they turn into the main element.
