A painter and draftsman, working in a fresh and uncomplicated manner, Tato, as he is known in Havana, is also a well-known balladeer and guitar player.
Another fine landscape painter, Emilio paints Cuban pastures, not resorting to surrealist ways to enhance what's there for him and us to see. Has exhibited widely outside the island.
Entirely created in her own mind but reminiscent of subjects of the middle ages (or H. Ch. Anderson stories), Hana's work is eclectic and forceful. She wouldn't divulge her spanish Cuban name; her husbands is Andreas Mir, a well-known Cuban writer.
Alicia is of Cuban-Asian descent (look for her signature!) and is well known internationally for her drawings as well as her ferocious but dreamlike works on canvas. She's currently a Professor at the San Alejandro Art Academy in Havana.
After participating in several group exhibitions in the U. S., Alicia is set for a solo show at a gallery in Chicago in June, 2007.
Roberto is currently one of Cuba's foremost painter and draftsman and his work can be seen in major museums around the world and at Sotheby's auctions.
Regina is well-known outside of Cuba and one of her exhibition titles was "La bellezza de lo que realmente soy". Therefore, hers is a world of great beauty, angels, organisms and the child in all of us.
Jorge Jose Luis studied painting, sculpture, modeling, perspective, poster and photography in the Plastic Arts School and graduated in 1959. He simultaneously worked at the Publishing House, Guastela Mc. And Erickson, where he earned mention and prizes for various art contests that he entered.
In the 60’s and 70’s he continued his studies in California, Russia and the Check Republic. During the next two decades he entered contests and became well known for his drawings and paintings. He studied portraits under the master Orlando Hernandez Yanes and landscapes under the master Jorge Martinez Mayet.
Besides the many awards he received, Jorge Jose Luis has exhibited worldwide. His latest exhibition was in Mexico City. He is also an assistant professor, associate investigator for the History of the Cuban Revolution, pilot and navigator.

Miguel Alberto Labrada studied art at the Elementary School of Visual Arts,"Carlos Enrique" in Manzanillo from 1981-1983. Followed by the National School of Visual Arts (E.N.A.) in La Havana from 1983-1987. He and a collegue had their sculptures placed on the monument to Celia Sanchez Manduley, place of the revolution of Manzanillo, Granma.

An leading participant at the famous Experimental Graphic Studio in Old Havana, Isolina, in her printmaking, demonstrates a strong influence by the traditional religion of Afro-Cuba, Santeria. She's recently had a groundbreaking exhibit at the Havana Gallery in Chicago.
MaryGil is a famous Cuban painter and engraver. Born Victoria Marilyn Enriquez, she is a self-made woman who studied design and interior decorating. She exhibits in many studios and has a mural at Varadero. Today she is member of the Cuban Association of Artists and Craftsmen and of the Cuban Cultural Property Fund.

Modesto is a talented young painter from the Eastern part of Cuba, who recently caught the eye of the art establishment in Havana. He was also part of a travelling exhibit in the U.S., featuring young artists from Santiago (that was before the tenure of George W.)
Alexander Mayet graduated from the Academy of Arts"San Alejandro" in 1999. His artistic personality can be traced to a family of artists: grandfather, father, brother, uncle, aunt and cousin. Together with his father, he developed his professional career in a number of artistic events and exhibitions. His work has been acknowledged by the Cuban Fund of Cultural Heritage.

Pestana is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists from Cuba (UNEAC). Over the years he has exhibited in Mexico, Spain and Cuba and garnered prizes and awards in all three of those countries.
He is also a professor with degrees in Spanish Literature, Philosophy and Literary Analysis
Pedro is a founding member of a group of Havana surrealists, simply called "El Grupo." A veritable tropical Hieronymus Bosch? Actually, Pedro cites the art and culture of ancient Egypt as on of his major influences.
Hugo is an accomplished artist of international reputation, using semi-abstract and conceptual forms of expression to examine psychological and mythological aspects that influence human nature. He is also known for his exquisite small sculptures and ceramics, as well as his printmaking.
Ms. Dania Sierra was born in Havana and moved to the United States in 1962. After living in the states for some time, Ms. Sierra started to refine her artistic techniques, taking classes at Barry College, Florida Career Institute and the University of Miami. She currently works as a professional fine artist as well as a graphic designer and has run her own professional graphic design company for over 19 years.
Ms. Sierra has been featured in galleries in New York, St Thomas V.I. and Florida, also at the Latin American Art Museum in Miami, Florida. Her paintings hang in private collections throughout the U.S.A., Canada and Europe.
Ms. Sierra was also the recipient of a Fine Arts scholarship to the University of Miami at an early age of her career; she also received a grant to study commercial art and design at The Florida Career Institute, in Miami Florida. In 1989, Ms. Sierra was commissioned by Carnival Cruise Lines to create a kinetic sculpture for its Crystal Palace Hotel and Casino in Nassau Bahamas.
Also a creator of gigantic steel sculptures displayed all over Cuba, Eliseo is an abstract painter in the tradition of "El grupo de los Once" made famous in the 50's by Hugo Consuegro, Guido Llinas and others.
Salazar's specialty is to infuse the Afro-Cuban woman with musical instruments in the cubist style. He has painted the "Blue Woman" over and over again, but each painting has its original style.
Salazar's work is exhibited at high profile centers such as the Victor Manuel Art Gallery and the La Mina Art Gallery. His work is collected by an international clientele.
Also a member of "El Grupo", Carlos, in painstaking detail and with great skill (which is difficult to appreciate in this form of presentation), paints scenes of fantasy and mythology, inspired by his boundless imagination and his dreams.
Lino is a self-taught artist and draftsman. Due to his deep commitment to Santeria, the ancient Yoruban-Cuban religion, his art draws from, and is dedicated to, that way of life.
